Alright, so I’ve been grinding Brawl Stars for a while now, and I figured it was time to make my own tier list. I mean, I’ve seen a bunch of them online, but none of them really clicked with my playstyle, you know?
So, I started by just playing a ton of games. Seriously, like, a LOT. Different game modes, different Brawlers, the whole shebang. I wanted to get a real feel for who was strong, who was weak, and who was just kinda…meh.
Then I grabbed a notebook and a pen – yeah, I’m old school like that – and started jotting down notes. I’d play a few matches with a Brawler, then write down my thoughts. Stuff like, “Wow, Piper is amazing on this map,” or “Man, Frank feels really underpowered right now.”

After a while, I started to see some patterns. Some Brawlers were consistently crushing it, while others were just struggling to keep up. That’s when I started organizing them into tiers. I went with the classic S, A, B, C, D, and F tiers, because, hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?
The S-tier was for the absolute beasts, the Brawlers that could carry a team on their back. A-tier was for the really strong ones, the ones that were almost always a good pick. B-tier was for the solid, reliable Brawlers, the ones that could do well in the right hands. And so on, all the way down to F-tier, which, well, let’s just say those Brawlers needed some serious love from the developers.
It wasn’t easy, though. There were some Brawlers that I just couldn’t make up my mind about. Like, one game they’d be amazing, and the next they’d be totally useless. Those were the hardest ones to place. I ended up spending a lot of time just staring at my notes, trying to figure out where they belonged.
Finally, after days of playing and note-taking and agonizing over placements, I had my tier list. It’s not perfect, of course. It’s just my opinion, based on my own experiences. But I’m pretty happy with it. I think it’s a good starting point for anyone who’s looking to get a better understanding of the current meta.
Maybe next time, I’ll use a spreadsheet instead of the old notebook. Live and learn!
