Okay, so today I’m gonna ramble about my, uh, little golf adventure inspired by Lilia Vu. I’m no pro, mind you, just a regular dude who likes hitting things with a stick.

First off, the prep. I started by watching a bunch of Lilia Vu’s videos. Seriously, YouTube became my best friend. I was trying to copy her swing, her stance, everything. I even went out and bought a similar hat, felt kinda silly but hey, gotta commit, right?
Then came the practice. I hit the driving range, like, every other day. I was focusing on keeping my eye on the ball, and really trying to get that smooth tempo in my swing like she does. It’s way harder than it looks on TV, let me tell you.
On the Course: The Real Test
Finally, it was time to actually play. I picked a local course that wasn’t too brutal. First few holes were, uh, rough. I was slicing the ball into the woods, duffing shots, the whole nine yards. I felt like I was worse than when I started!
But I kept trying to remember what I learned. Slow down the swing, keep the wrist firm, follow through. Slowly, things started to click. I started hitting the ball straighter, further. Even managed a couple of decent approach shots.
- The good: A few pars! Actually felt like I was playing golf for a few holes.
- The bad: Still had some shanks that went sideways. Embarrassing!
- The ugly: One tee shot went straight into a water hazard. Classic.
Overall: It was a blast! I didn’t magically become Lilia Vu, obviously, but I definitely improved. Just trying to emulate her style made me focus on the fundamentals. Plus, being out on the course is always a good time.

So, yeah, that’s my Lilia Vu golf journey so far. I’m gonna keep practicing, keep watching videos, and hopefully get a little bit better each time I play. Maybe one day I’ll break 90… maybe.
