Alright, let’s talk about this… this… Ohtani fella, yeah? DraftKings, they’re sayin’ stuff about where he’s gonna go play next. Folks are all worked up about it, like a hen in a fox den.
This Ohtani, he’s somethin’ special, I hear. They say he can pitch like a cannon and hit the ball a country mile. Never seen nothin’ like it myself, but that’s what the TV folks are squawkin’ about. Sounds like he’s worth a whole lotta money, more than I ever seen in my life, that’s for sure.
Now, DraftKings, they’re like those fellas down at the feed store, always bettin’ on things. They got odds, whatever those are, on where this Ohtani fella’s gonna end up. Says here, some teams got a better chance than others. Like that Toronto team, they’re talkin’ ’bout him up there. Heck, Toronto’s colder than a well digger’s butt in January, but I guess money can warm ya up.
- Los Angeles Angels, that’s where he’s at now, right? Maybe he stays, maybe he goes. Who knows with these young fellas. Always chasin’ after the next shiny thing.
- Then there’s the Los Angeles Dodgers, another bunch with deep pockets. They got money to burn, those city folk.
- And the New York Yankees… Heard of them. Big city, big money, big egos. Probably pay him in gold bars, I reckon.
This Ohtani, he’s a “unique talent,” they say. Means he’s one of a kind, like a two-headed calf or a five-legged chicken. Every team wants him, but not everyone can afford him. It’s like wanting a fancy new tractor, but only havin’ enough money for a rusty old mule.
It’s a whole heap of fuss, if you ask me. Just a bunch of rich fellas throwin’ money around. But I guess that’s how things work in the big leagues. They got more money than sense, most of ‘em.

Probably be happier back on a farm somewhere, far away from all this fuss and bother.
Anyway, that’s the gist of it. Ohtani’s gonna go somewhere, play baseball, and make a whole lotta money. And DraftKings, they’ll be there, takin’ bets and makin’ money too. Just another day in the city, I guess. Me, I’ll stick to my chickens and my garden. At least I know what I’m gettin’ with them.
But I tell you what, if this Ohtani fella ever wants a good home-cooked meal and some peace and quiet, he’s welcome to come on down to the country. I’ll make him some fried chicken and biscuits that’ll knock his socks off. And we won’t talk about baseball, not one bit.
