Alright, folks, gather ’round. Today, I’m gonna share my journey of trying to get a squat like Jalen Hurts, that guy from the Philadelphia Eagles. That dude is strong! I saw some stuff online about how he’s like a beast when it comes to squats, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

So, I started by watching some videos of him. Man, that guy makes it look easy! He’s got this crazy strength, and it’s not just for show. It helps him be all explosive and agile on the field. I figured if I could get even a little bit of that, I’d be golden.

First, I had to figure out my own starting point. I tried a few squats, just to see where I was at. It wasn’t pretty, let me tell you. I wasn’t even close to what Hurts can do, but hey, everyone starts somewhere, right?

Then, I did some digging around on the internet, trying to find some tips. People were asking all sorts of questions about how he got so strong and how to improve their own squats. I started putting together a plan.

  • Warm-up: I started with some light cardio and stretching. Gotta get those muscles ready, you know?
  • Practice: I did squats a few times a week, focusing on getting the form right. It’s not just about lifting heavy; it’s about doing it safely.
  • Add weight gradually: I started with just the bar, then slowly added more weight as I got stronger. No point in rushing it and getting hurt.
  • Rest: I made sure to give my body time to recover between workouts. Muscles need time to rebuild and get stronger.

It was tough, I’m not gonna lie. There were days when I felt like giving up. But I kept at it, slowly but surely. I started seeing some progress, which was super motivating.

Results

After a few weeks, I could definitely squat more than when I started. I’m still nowhere near Jalen Hurts’ level, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. And you know what? I feel stronger and more energetic overall. It’s not just about the numbers; it’s about how you feel.

So, if you’re thinking about trying to improve your squat, just go for it! It’s a challenge, but it’s totally worth it. Just remember to start slow, listen to your body, and be patient. You might surprise yourself with what you can achieve.
