Alright, let’s talk about this Kyle Pitts fella, the one they’re all yapping about in that fantasy football stuff. I hear he’s a tight end, whatever that means. Sounds like he catches balls or somethin’.
Now, they got this thing called ADP, sounds fancy, right? Don’t ask me what it stands for, somethin’ somethin’ draft position. They say this Kyle fella, he’s goin’ around pick number 61 or so. That makes him the seventh tight end picked, they say. Seventh best, huh? Guess that’s pretty good, like bein’ the seventh biggest rooster in the henhouse.
They compare him to fellas named Evan Engram and George Kittle. Never heard of ’em, but I guess they’re good too, catchin’ balls and whatnot. Some folks think Kyle is just as good as them, some don’t. It’s all just a bunch of guessin’ if you ask me.

- Caught a whole bunch of balls and scored touchdowns.
- Sounds like he was a big deal, like the prize-winning bull at the county fair.
But this NFL, it’s a different animal, they say. Tougher, I reckon. Like tryin’ to plow a rocky field instead of a soft one. Kyle, he runs around, but sometimes them linebackers, big ol’ fellas, they get in his way. He needs to be stronger, they say, like a good workhorse.
They got this coach, Scott somethin’, he likes Kyle. Says he’s a hard worker, always the same, steady as a clock. That’s good, I guess. You want a fella who shows up every day, not one who’s good one day and lazy the next, like that old hound dog we had, always chasin’ squirrels one minute, nappin’ the next.
Back in college, they called Kyle a “Unicorn.” Fancy name, huh? Means he was special, I guess. Too big for the little fellas, too fast for the big fellas. Like a fox in a chicken coop, quick and clever. But in the NFL, everyone’s quick and clever, so he needs more than just fancy footwork, he needs to be tough.
Now, these fantasy football folks, they get all excited about this Kyle fella. They give their teams funny names, like “Pitts and Giggles” or “I Pitts the Fool.” Sounds silly to me, but they like it. They think if Kyle does good, their team does good. It’s all just a game, though, ain’t it? Like playin’ horseshoes, sometimes you win, sometimes you don’t.
So, should you pick Kyle Pitts for your fantasy team? Well, that’s the million-dollar question, ain’t it? He’s a good player, they say, but there’s other good players too. It’s like pickin’ apples, you want the best ones, but sometimes you gotta settle for a good one that’s a little bruised. He could be a big help, or he could be a bust, like that time I tried to bake a cake with no flour. It all depends on how he plays and how lucky you are.
This ADP thing, it’s just a guess. Nobody knows for sure how good Kyle will be this year. He could be better than they think, or he could be worse. It’s all a gamble, like plantin’ crops. You hope for a good harvest, but you never really know till it’s time to pick. So, if you like him, pick him. If you don’t, don’t. It’s your team, your choice. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if he don’t play good, I ain’t got time for that.
